Request Credential
The Pilgrim Credential / Passport can be obtained in person at the Porto Pilgrim Office during opening hours or requested through the form available on this website.
If you are starting your Camino from Porto, there is usually no need to order your credential online, as it can be purchased directly at the Pilgrim Office before departure.
Opening Hours (High Season)
Monday to Saturday: 07:00–12:30 and 14:30–17:00
Sundays and Public Holidays: 07:00–12:30
Opening Hours (Low Season)
Daily: 10:00–12:00
Online ordering is recommended for pilgrims starting their Camino from locations other than Porto, following other Camino routes, arriving outside opening hours, or who wish to receive their credential before travelling.
After submitting the request form, the Porto Pilgrim Office team will contact you to:
- Confirm availability and requested quantities;
- Inform the total amount due, including shipping costs (which vary according to destination and number of items);
- Provide payment instructions.
Orders are shipped after payment confirmation.

Important Notice for Orders to the United States
Due to current U.S. customs regulations and shipping restrictions, orders sent to the United States are currently limited to pilgrim credentials classified as documents.
