4. 1-Week Pilgrimage with a Guide on the Camino de Santiago

Accompanying pilgrims during a week of pilgrimage.

Option 1: Week — Faith, Silence, and Templars (Lisbon → Tomar)

This first week is marked by spirituality, inner withdrawal, and the mysticism of the start of the Camino. Starting in Lisbon leads the pilgrim through territories of silence, introspection, and faith, where the Camino begins to be lived more from within than from without. The route gains special meaning with the passage through Fátima, a place of universal devotion, and culminates in Tomar, a city linked to the Order of the Templars and its spiritual and symbolic legacy.

Option 2: Week — Knowledge, Awareness, and Identity (Tomar → Coimbra)

This week represents the time of awareness, knowledge, and the building of inner identity. The Camino becomes more reflective, deep, and symbolic. Arriving in Coimbra takes on a central meaning, not just as a historic city, but as the founding space of Portugal. The tomb of D. Afonso Henriques, in the Monastery of Santa Cruz, symbolizes origin, purpose, and identity.

Option 3: Week — Community, Mission, and Spirit of the Camino (Coimbra → Porto)

This week is lived under the sign of community, sharing, and mission. The Camino ceases to be only individual and transforms into a collective experience, where mutual aid, service, and human connection take center stage. Arriving in Porto symbolizes the closing of an inner cycle and the consolidation of the true Jacobean spirit: walking with meaning, awareness, and connection to others.

Target Audience: Pilgrims who feel the need to walk the Camino accompanied by a Guide.
